Swimbaits in 40ft Trees For Suspended Fall Bass! | 3 Hour Challenge

Fall fishing and suspended bass go hand in hand. In this video, I show you how I use my fish finder to locate bass in deep standing timber on Table Rock Lake and catch post-front bass on a swimbait. I also share some offshore fishing techniques and explain where to fish in the fall in deep, clear lakes. Hope you enjoy the tips!

  1. Another Great Video! This may be a dumb question, but how do you deal with applying these techniques when you are trying to position yourself relative to some offshore structure and the wind (or current I suppose) is significantly moving your boat.  Perhaps those conditions are not ideal for offshore jig fishing.  I suppose one of those trolling motors synced to GPS would be helpful as well.  Would love to hear your thoughts.

  2. Well done!!!! I really enjoy this series…. and all the other videos as well. I went out today and used your tip on casting left and right and by the end of the day was able to get with in two feet of my target with the left cast. Your tip on hand position was right on. Thanks and keep teaching me!

  3. How do you know the fall rate of your lures? I find myself trying to target suspended fish but I don't know if I'm in the strike zone or they aren't biting. The struggle is real

  4. This is my favorite series. Seeing how you adapt under pressure and quickly zero in on a pattern gets me excited to hit the water again. There is so much bass fishing info out there that it can be overwhelming so seeing you quickly declutter to a couple techniques is very informative. I might attempt some tournaments this season just because of this series giving me the kick in the pants I needed.

  5. These are my favorite videos! All of them are great but the 3 hour challenge is the best as we get to peek inside your thought process while you are on the water. Excellent!

  6. Good tip on adjusting your sensitivity to locate them in the trees! It was a tough day and I often find myself taking that gamble for bigger ones on days like that also.Cold water fishing is definitely frustrating sometimes.
