Going back to the visit the Bay Area for some striped bass fishing. Enjoying the outdoors with friends doing what I love to do.

Fishing equipment:
Okuma 9′,6″, 1/4 to 1/2 oz lure wt., Celilo light action Salmon/Steelhead rod.
Shimano Sahara 3000 spinning reel, spooled with 20 lb test J-Braid 8.

Lures:
Storm – Shad swimbait
Hair Razor white jig with Zoom soft plastic curly tail

  1. @BACK FISHING all the big bass in the ocean would eventually have to traverse San Pablo , Suisun bays , Montezuma and the best of all the Napa River before arriving in the Delta and Rio Vista area .

  2. I started fishing the bay/Montezuma as a 5 yr old in 1959. It was a paradise of striped bass , salmon , sturgeon and catfish in the 1960- 1985 era .
    Especially striped bass . It wasn’t unusual to catch a 3 fish limit of 20-25 pound fish in the fall , Especially if using bullheads . .
