Thanks for the video I've learned more in this 1 video than anyone has ever told me in my short time fishing. Us new fishermen get treated like crap when it comes to spots or little techniques. We just want to catch a few we are not looking to blow out your favorite spot lol.
Great video as always! Heading to Guntersville end of November- I guess I should try this technique there?
So good!
Mikey, thank you for bringing this to my attention again. I keep forgetting to throw this. I get so hung up on throwing the fluke this time of year that I forget all about this rig… and I agree with brantleywitcher 914, why you don't have 500,000 subs or more is beyond me….
3.3 Kitech has become my go to when the bite is tough. When the water temp cools down, I will fish it all day long.

It’s 2023, it’s time for “Robo” umps. Fans are tired of ball/strikes calls ruining the game
My favorite technique this year
Goat
I LOVE the action of a keitech. The only drawback is, I can only catch one or two fish per bait. If they could make a swimbait with the great action and some durability, they’d have something great.
What braid do you use? I’ve got no issues with the 832 I usually use, but open to try other stuff if people have good things to say about it
I'm in N.C. my home lake is lake Rhodhiss. I bought a bunch of swim baits even the ones with under spins. The bass are all under shad balls suspended. I just can't get bit. I don't understand it. The bass in this lake won't hit anything I throw. It's only taking 8 pounds with 3 fish to win the tournaments they fish. I have livescope and fish and shad are everywhere. They just won't hit anything. Any help ?? Thanks
Subbed. Good info brotha
I liked the way bogg would look around you keeping an eye on the fish. 🤟
Bro shut up!!! We don’t want nobody fishing these
I use that hook on my swimbait rod and have yet to bend one out but I've yet to hook into one over 4lbs. I love that head it's fantastic.
So where are my Large Mouth? 😮
Hey Bog! Nice jammies.
Makin’ me want to go get ‘em.
Still blows my mind that Mikey doesn’t have at least 1 million subs. Mikey you are no doubt one of my favorite YouTubers, you are informative, entertaining, and most of all you keep real! You don’t get the credit you deserve bud!
I got into swimbait fishing a few years ago and it can be a great way to get those pressured and rattle shy fish to bite. I've found a few swimbaits that work well and one is the Eco Pro Tungsten Swing Shad. About half the cost of a Keitech but catch fish just as good. Look at the reviews for them on Tackle Warehouse.
I’m Gonna try this out
Mikey isn’t a hydrologist but he is a hydrilla-ist 😎
I'm Just an old man trying to keep up with you young guys…started fishing swimbaits this year…and yes, there is a learning curve…but with videos like yours, I find the confidence to keep trying!!!..thanks for a great lesson…
Great video Mikey. I love fishing a swimbait on a ballhead jig. Works great for smallies on shallow rocky rivers I fish. I usually use a medium action rod, but I'll have try a medium light.
Will 16lb braid with 12 lb leader work?
Love a 2.8, paired with big swimbait follow up bait, or vice versa.
Good looking threads on Bog.
Any tips for paddling kayak without electronics having no luck with them on bull shoals lake in arkansas what kind of structure should I be looking for with sucess?
Mikey you’re. A good dude always happy always fun ty
I love the “zzzzzzzzzzz”! Thanks Balzz, the swim bait is one of my go to baits because of watching you fish it!…..and bog of course🤙
I live in NC and fish ponds, what keitech colors do you suggest?
Let it go zzzzzzzzzz best sound ever.
The secret of the swimbait is chuck that bitch out and reel it back in
Appreciate the tips you shed out! Kudos brother thank you! Me being new to live scope this will help
Was out fishing last year and brought a buddy of mine that isn't really into fishing. Got him throwing a 4'' EZ shiner on a little 1/0 jig head from the back of the boat. He managed to hook into a 5.5lb fish! On a 1500 acre Northern lake that's a stud. If I was smart id throw a finesse swim bait too but I was probably throwing a glide or something dumb
Love throwing it in the fall! Great video Mikey!
Good stuff Mikey
