Fishing TINY Swimbaits for TOUGH Late Summer Bass (Megabass Dark Sleeper)

  1. This lure has an amazing falling action. Caught my two biggest LMB of the season on initial fall splash down so be ready! I also catch good quantities of small ones on a medium slow steady retrieve, including a nice crappie. Knowing the falling action is good, I mainly use a yo yo retrieve, but so far splash down fall for the big ones and steady retrieve for the small ones. Best one has been a 1/2 oz that I accidentally ripped off one dorsal fin using pliers to unhook and it later lost an eye. Beat up as hell but still catches fish. Lure is new to me so I can't say that one color is the best. They cast like bullets, even the lighter 3/8 oz size.
