Capitola! New to your channel and I’m addicted to your videos
Halibut have large lateral lines which is why they respond to swim baits so well. We need them this year as the live bait situation is very poor especially for late June.
Reports said live bait from capitola to New Brighton, Laugh!

Elon: Many comments: Being shore fisher BUT I totally agree with you on the ocean (vs. bays). It's a fishers paradise, somewhat more cleaner waters less ag, any old mining run off, maybe away from sewage overflows, and confined fish. Wow! That Pier looked a little like totally destroyed Sea Cliff in Santa Cruz. You still prefer a peddle Yak than one battery powered. And a kind sustainable release. Halibut can't refuse a white swim bait with a chartreuse tail.
