This is the BEST SWIMBAIT You Have NEVER Even Heard Of

In this video, I showcase the Best Looking SWIMBAIT I have ever seen. This swimbait is handmade made by Rod Hallman. It is 7.25 inches long and weighs just under 3 ounces. The mold used to make this bait was cast from a real gizzard shad, and this bait is a perfect shad imitation. This bait has a single joint in the middle, which makes it a glide bait and gives it an enticing side to side gliding motion. Big bass, snook, tarpon, and whatever other gamefish you are looking to catch, will love to get a closer look at this awesome lure.

  1. Rod Hallman here. Super cool video. Quick background on the one hook design since that is unusual.. I make other two hook baits and have scarred some gorgeous bass because the back hook on these big baits was swinging around during the fight.. I rarely hook bass on back hook unless it's a fast moving bait. They almost always attack the head given the chance and they rarely come off in my experience with this bait. I even made a two hook line thru hard bait but they again hit the front almost every time so I stopped. The ROF 4 is clearly a more shallow bait. Just a matter of adding heavier weights, which I have done. Top dorsal is semi rigid and flexes without breaking. Thanks for the comments.

  2. Wow, that’s not your typical garage made swimbait. Work of art. Digging that super slow roll. I don’t know of any other hard line thru swimbaits, this is a unicorn. Pros would be when you do hook up, you won’t have a 3 oz bait flapping around when the fish breaks water. That said, your slightly handicapped with 1 treble concerning short strikes, quick reaction strikes, nippers etc. I’m excited to see how this glide performs for you. Remember the 10 cast rule dude.
