  1. Yo, I fish ‘em in the Pacific, but I fear we’re all dumping a lot of plastic into our waters. These are fairly new, and in time, we’re going to see remnants and pieces and snagged lures everywhere.

  2. didn't know till now that FINN was a company you started/owned. Tried to purchase, but no stock. Left an inquiry, no response. Tried to support your channel Tyler, oh well, just bought a HUK on Amazon.

  3. Guy from Europe here: If i'm fishing the Keitech FSI (which is within my favourite baits) here in the river Rhine with a Fluocarbon leader i won't have much fun because the pike will simply cut the line if it inhales the lure deep enough, and there are lot of decent sized pike around here 😀So even if i'm targeting zander or european perch i always use a steel or titanium leader, otherwise i'll lose plenty of lures and fish 😀

  4. On a Keitech, I use a weighted 'keeper' EWG, and I sometimes slit the belly a bit to give the hook more room to get through on the set. Makes things more weedless as I can keep the point 'Texas rig style' in the little top channel. But I did have to go from a 3/0 to a 4/0 to get better penetration on hook set as well as keeping it in against the fight, and it really helped bending the point sideways a bit.

For 5" ones, I throw on a 7" medium heavy, 30-lb braid and 15-lb fluoro leader.

  5. I caught 5 bass on a swimbait with a under spin today, missed couple more, but they where doing trick today. Only got fish about hour n half took me hour figure it out. Very clear water, tributary of Ohio river near Cincinnati. Started off with brush jig, then Ned rig nothing on either. 2 nd cast out with bass pro underspin with 4 inch yum money maker swimbait and boom

  6. Im from cslifornua and i used tii think a 6 inch swombaitv was hugec….then i deckddcit was time to get on the big bait. Wagon so i vot an. 8 in 3.83 oz trout swimbait. And that was friken huge had to vet a couple big bait rods 1-6 oz ratingor 1-8 oz i got a TFO ROD. and A okuma guide sekect (thabks Dave) a bjg citrix on the okuna rod and an ocean logic castiing real for the tfo originally its. Still in service and will bomb a big swimbait , a rig etc …its all about the tip and how welll it llads and rebounds throwing a big 5oz swimbait if it can send it without feeling award or overloaded then your in buisnessand both of tbe afore mentioned rods get it Done. If you havent got the right rod then big bait fishing will loose its appeal real quick the knot between your shoulder blades will telll its wrong if you havent figured it outt out yet ….when you first throw an 8-10-12. In. Bait its gonna feel a bit awkward and heavy but when you make the cast you will hopefully be pleasently surprised by how effortless it is and how far it goes and all you did was focus on good mechanics , trust me it may be the furthest thought from your mind right now ut when your getti g ready to make that first cast you start mind f ing yourself none if us wants to vet up there and bloew up our spool so you start thinking just be smooth do t worry about distance . ….then you lean back and the road loads up and you vive ut a vood fulcrom with your other hand and it ssils out tbere like. No big deal and your like wow that was bitching…and your hooked. ……

  7. I enjoyed your video. One thing, I don't use exposed hook jigheads nearly as much as offset hook jigheads that you can fish more snagless/weedless. I avoid the frequent snags and I don't seem to miss many strikes. Your tip on lighter hooks is right on the money though. Just have to make sure you have a good sharp hook on the jighead. When I find the perfect jighead for my preferred swimbait I buy a bunch of them. (Using a bait with too flimsy of a tail may be another mistake many make.)

  8. Recently I started tying my jig head lures with a loop knot. I notice it gives more action to the lure and the fish seem to notice also because I catch more fish than before with a cinch knot.
